Real-World Example
Your delivery board mirrors the 'Account Manager' people column from the Sales board. But mirror columns are read-only — you can't use them in automations or My Work. This action reads the mirrored person and assigns them to a local 'Owner' people column, so the right person shows up in My Work and can receive notifications. Choose 'replace' to overwrite the current assignee or 'add' to keep existing people and add the mirrored person alongside them.
